Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I need new windows?
If your existing windows are single pane, meaning only one pane of glass, it is safe to say that it is time to replace your windows. Many of
the homes in Arizona that were built before 1990 have single pane windows. As time goes by, these windows are deteriorating and
becoming more fragil. Even having the glass replaced is becoming very expensive. Newer replacement windows are lasting longer and
many manufactures are offering exceptional warranties to back their product.
What options are available for patio doors?
Their are many options for new patio doors. Fortunately, manufactures have maintained a standard size for sliding patio doors and hinged
french doors that will easily fit into the opening of many older homes. We can order sliding glass doors in both vinyl and aluminum, and
hinged french doors in aluminum and fiberglass. It is even possible to replace a sliding glass door with a french door, or as some
manufactures call it, a "Garden Door".
I have a stucco exterior. Will the new windows damage my stucco?
In many cases, no. Our windows have a unique option available. You can order the window to have a "stucco flange" that will actually cover
the transition between the stucco and window frame, hiding the raw edge of stucco left behind once your old window is cut out. This flange
is integrated into the window frame, eliminating seams that could possibly leak or trap moisture or debris.
Will replacing a window damage the interior wall finish?
No. Our installation process insures that we will not damage the interior or exterior of your home. We order and install your window based
on the style and design of your home. It is important that the service we provide be tailor made to the unique features of your home to insure
that once the job is complete, the product appears as if it was originally installed when your home was built...or even better.
I want to install my own window. Can I still buy the window from you?
Of course. Many home owners can install their own windows and doors. We understand that everyone wants to save money any where they
can. We will still provide you the same service when purchasing your windows or doors even if you decide to install them yourself. We will
make sure that you are aware of every option available and assist you in the proper installation of the products we sell. After all, we don't
want to sell you something that won't fit.
Please be advised that if the window is not installed properly, you run the risk of voiding the manufactures warranty. We suggest to have the
window installed by us. Check to see what specials we are offering. You may get the install for free.
I need custom window sizes. Does that cost more?
NO ! I am hearing a lot of feedback regarding that same question. Many manufactures who produce replacement windows specialize in
custom sizes. They know that not all window sizes are the same, nor are the homes, so they can't charge extra for "custom sizes" if they
want to sell a quality product. I will get into greater detail later about this subject...seems a lot of people have the same question.
